Welcome to our Terms and Conditions page. Please take a minute to familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions. If you have any questions or need further clarification on any terms, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will clarify/answer any questions you may have.

Terms and Conditions

1. For clarification purposes words such as "you" and "your" used are referred to the client or person buying the product.

2. For clarification purposes words such as "we", "our", and "us" are terms used to refer to the seller as in BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS.

3. BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS prohibits anyone from reproducing any of our designs that were not authorized by a representative from BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS. The team at BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS spends numerous hours designing new and creative invitations. Please respect their hard work. Any unauthorized copying, printing or usage on other sites is prohibited. Not complying with the rules laid out will force Butterfly Invitations to take legal action.

4. Removing any copyright or trademark material from our website or any printed material is not permitted.

5. Any type of modification to our website (i.e hacking) or any information that is contained in this website will constitute as a criminal act and will be reported to appropriate authorities.

6. Sending any malicious files to be used by BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS is prohibited. Materials sent to us containing viruses, Trojans, or any items that are destructive to our website and our systems will be reported to appropriate authorities.

7. Custom invitations designs created for you or by you will remain a copyright of BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS.  We also reserve the right to use the designs for future clients and for promotional/marketing material.

8. When appropriate, we will incorporate our company logo on any stationary including custom made cards. Our discreet logo will be placed for copyright and branding reasons.

9. We try to present our product (cards) in their actual colors. However, there may be a slight difference in colour between our website and e-mail proofs. Displays on different mobile devices and computers may change the colours of our cards. It is recommended that you order a sample from our collection to see the actual colours of the products.

10. Please note, there might be a minimal difference, when your invitation comes out of print. By using different machines at different times may cause small variations in colours. Any changes in colour occurring as a result of printing will not be grounds for refund, reprint or return. Please contact us through e-mail, if you have any concerns.

11. If the buyer does not supply BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS with information required to complete and print the order, you cannot hold us liable for not completing your order in a timely manner.

12. It is the responsibly of the buyer to check and ensure that the order is correct before your invitations (items) go to print. When we receive your payment and your items go to print no refunds can be given, unless an error was on our (BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS) part. In such case, please contact us and we will resolve the issue on a case by case basis.

13. As stated before, verifying the proofs is the responsibility of the buyer. Once the proofs are approved you will be asked to agree with the Terms and Conditions before checking out. By placing a check mark you agree to the terms and conditions and authorize us to send your order to final print. BUTTERFLY INVITATONS will not start any printing unless approval has been granted by e-mail and the "check mark" has been placed at time of check out. All e-mail confirmations will be held on file for verification. 

14. As a client of BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS, you are responsible for gaining any permission for materials to be used on the invitations. Items such as photographs, poems, songs etc. given by you to us for placement on the invitations will be accepted as full permission for usage on our product. You (the buyer) are responsible for any illegal reproduction due to incorrect licensing or breach of copyright laws.

15. BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS understands that meeting deadlines is crucial, however times and delivery dates as stated are approximate, since we do not have control over third parties (eg. if there is a sudden need to purchase additional material for invitations). Butterfly Invitations will not be held responsible or accountable as a result of failure to deliver on a set date or dates.

16. Unless we post a promotional advertisement, all prices on our website, quotes and invoices are non-negotiable.

Circumstances beyond control and liability

1. BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS will not be held liable for any failure to perform or delay due to circumstances beyond control which include fire, flood, war, strike, riot, embargo or any government intervention.

2. BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS will not accept liability beyond the terms set out in these terms and conditions. BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS will not be liable for any consequential, direct or indirect or punitive damages. BUTTERFLY INVITATIONS liability for any claim shall be limited to the product price paid by the buyer (customer).
